Welcome to the LapRap project

LapRap is a project designed to organize a community around the idea of constructing a hobbyist-grade inkjet Rapid Prototyper (AKA 3D Printer) using commonly available and cheap parts.  The trick here is the technique.  Since the originator of this project cannot solder or program, he has decided to offer prizes to those indifivduals who make major contributions to the codebase or knowledge base with late 1990's laptops approriate for use with the contributor's own LapRap project machine.
